MARVIN 2010 -  FULL SPEED AHEAD

Our Marvin’s zeitgeist 2010

2010 was a year during which Marvin made giant strides forward. From new products (Malton round and cushion, Loeb collections) to new territories (France, USA, China, Mexico, Hong Kong, Portugal) or new distribution partners (Switzerland, Russia), from new partnerships (Sébastien Loeb, Cool Hunting) to open communication (blog, Facebook, YouTube, twitter) and events (Loeb launching worldwide, Monaco film festival, Washington Swiss embassy party), we must say 2010 was a fabulous year; not bad for a young man of 160 years!

In a few numbers, we are happy to share with you the progress we made, especially in term of turnover with a progress of 120% over 2009. We achieved:

20 active markets, +100% over 2009

128 doors selling Marvin, +113% over 2009

20 antique Marvin watches on sales per week on EBay with average prices rising since last year

110’000 visitors on the Marvin web site since January, on average: 9’000 visits/month, 75’000 pages views/month, 3min20sec time spend on site

1700 natural fans on Facebook since January 2010, + 8% every month recently, 780 registered on twitter,

14500 videos view on YouTube, 55 videos published

350 press articles since January

3 international awards

15’000 cups of coffee and 78’000g of chocolate at Marvin HQ

To be totally honest, it sometimes drives us crazy. But we enjoy every single bit as being part of the game.
Great thanks again to all the people who are taking part in this fabulous adventure, who support us and contribute to make us better, better known and alive, eyes wide open and confident for the future, to all of you, HAPPY MERRY NEW YEAR !
