When it comes to creating a timepiece that incorporates the distinctive codes of rallying, getting the seven-time world rally champion himself involved in the process can only ensure its authenticity and success. Think technical perfection on a par with relentless attention to detail and finish. The new LOEB Special Edition wouldn`t be the only sports watch that you might see around, but it definitely is one of the few out there that can be called a “supercar of watchmaking”.
True to his values, Marvin celebrated the reveal of its brand new champion in style last week in Paris, at the ultra chic C42 on Champs-Elysées. Time stood still and the guests paused for a beat when the world rally champion Sébastien Loeb and Cécile Maye, Marvin`s CEO, unveiled the LOEB Special Edition. There, in front of everybody`s eyes, stood not only an exceptional sports watch but also a promise fulfilled, a heir to a destiny shaped nearly 50 years ago by Pierre Didisheim, 4th Marvin family generation and a car-racing enthusiast. Among the guests attending the exclusive event were also designer Sébastien Perret and the creative watchmaker Jean-François Ruchonnet, both of which have contributed to the design of Marvin`s new timepiece.
