Community Management: a true success!

We are delighted with all the great things that happened these past months at Marvin, and even more thrilled with all the novelties we are preparing for you in the coming weeks!
Marvin’s investment in social media, pioneering in hiring a community manager, did not get unnoticed. It got so appreciated and our track of record after 12 months of intensive activity is so good, that Jerome, our Community Manager, got hired by another famous luxury brand. What a success story! :)

We obviously got it right and greatly influenced the luxury industry, opening new perspectives for brands to create links with customers and fans.
Although we are sad seeing Jerome leave, we are glad for him and really happy that more brands are looking to unlock their social potential.

We really wish to thank you – our followers, fans and readers – for responding so warmly to our approach.
To keep up with this good pace, we worked all summer defining a disruptive, yet again pioneering, strategy.

We are sorry to only be able to tease you at this point. 2010-2011 will be conversational, social, mobile and highly interactive.
If you wish to be the first to know what coming, just leave your e-mail below:

Our mind set always was “NEW TIMES, NEW CODES”. So will our new team and strategy be.

Avant-gardely yours,

The Marvin Team

Sad to see Jerome go. He was a great personality “backstage”.
    Good luck!

You are right Andrew, Jerome was a good community manager but you will get the possibility to discover new & great people too in backstage and a lot of new subjects too. If you already have suggestions you would like to make, just let us know here ;-) Thanks for your support!

  4. That’s the risk of nurturing such a great community guy, isn’t it? They do get noticed!

Regardless, a good community manager can usually share the excitement and passion enough to give everyone else in the company the urge to get involved too :) Wishing you guys great luck for the new year.

You are right :) But we don’t think it was a risk we should have not taken ;-) What was created thanks to jerome and his efforts is going to pursued and further nurtured in the coming months. This gives us actually additional opportunities and precious market feedback too… like yours ;-) Are you involved in community management too?
